Utah Refugee Employment and Community Center, through the Asian Association of Utah, provides job placement, housing, counseling, transportation, legal, medical and other services. Contact Information: 1588 S. Major St., Salt Lake City, UT 84115, (801) 467-6060.

English Skills Learning Center provides individualized English tutoring to refugees and immigrants.   Contact Information: 631 W. North Temple St., Salt Lake City, UT 84116, (801) 328-5608.

Valley Mental Health provides counseling and other mental health services to refugees. Contact Information: (801) 539-7000 or the 24-hour crisis line at (801) 261-1422  or (800) 537-8739.

Utah Health and Human Rights Project helps refugees deal with human rights abuses such as torture and human trafficking. Contact Information: 225 S 200 E, Ste. 250, Salt Lake City, UT 84111, (801) 363-4596.

International Rescue Committee provides immediate resettlement and orientation services such as employment, health and English-skill services. Contact Information: 231 East 400 South, Ste. 150, Salt Lake City, UT 84111 (801) 328-1091.

Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake provides legal assistance to victims of domestic violence and low-cost legal assistance to low-income people for family law issues.
